- What is CertRidge?
CertRidge is a practice-exam platform for professional certifications. It is question-bank first: there are no video courses. You get original practice questions delivered through a focused exam simulator, with a full explanation for every answer option — not just the correct one. It currently covers AWS certifications, with Microsoft Azure and other vendors on the roadmap.
- Are these real exam questions or exam dumps?
No. Every question on CertRidge is original, written from scratch against each certification's publicly published exam guide. We never use real, leaked, or "recalled" exam questions, and we never will. Sharing or reproducing real certification exam content violates the exam-taker agreement you sign with AWS, Microsoft, and every other certification body, and it is not a legitimate way to prepare.
Our questions are built to test the same knowledge, the same exam domains, and the same difficulty as the real exam, so practising on them prepares you for the actual test — without copying it.
- Is using a practice-exam site a legitimate way to study?
Yes, when the questions are original. Practising with realistic, well-explained questions is a mainstream, vendor-endorsed study method — AWS and Microsoft both publish their own official practice assessments for exactly this reason. What is not legitimate is memorising leaked live-exam questions from an "exam dump". CertRidge is firmly the first kind: original questions that mirror the real exam's structure, not its contents.
- How closely does a CertRidge practice exam match the real thing?
Each practice exam matches the real exam's question count, time limit, and domain weighting as published by the certification vendor. For example, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner practice exam is 65 questions over 90 minutes, weighted across the four domains in the same proportion AWS uses.
One honest caveat: your CertRidge score is a straight percent-correct figure. AWS and Microsoft report a scaled score (100–1000 for AWS, with 700 to pass) and do not publish the exact conversion, so we compare your percent-correct against a widely-cited estimate of the passing bar. Treat the pass/fail line as "am I in the right range", not "this is the scaled score I would get".
- What does the exam-readiness score mean?
It is a single percentage estimating how prepared you are across the whole exam, not just your last attempt. It is weighted by each domain's real published exam weight, and it counts a domain you have not practised yet against you — because the real exam will test it whether you studied it or not. A readiness score in the 80s or above, with no weak domain, is a reasonable signal that you are ready to book the real exam.
- Is there a free way to try it?
Yes. Every certification has a free 10-question diagnostic with no account required. It ends with an estimate of where you stand and which domains need work. It is always free — it is not a trial that expires.
- What practice modes are included?
Three. Exam Mode is timed and full-length with no feedback until you submit, matching real exam conditions. Practice Mode is untimed and shows the explanation for each question as soon as you answer it. Review Mode draws only from the questions you have previously missed or flagged for that certification, so you can drill your weak spots.
- How often is the question bank updated?
Cloud certification exams change as the underlying services change, so those question banks are reviewed and refreshed on an ongoing basis, and any question flagged for a factual correction is pulled from circulation immediately while it is fixed. More stable exams — for example project-management or entry-level security certifications — need less frequent updates because their bodies of knowledge move on a multi-year cycle.
- How much does it cost?
Two one-time prices, both lifetime — there is no subscription. A single certification is a one-time $15. All-access is a one-time $59 and covers every certification, current and future, including new exam versions. The free diagnostic is always free.
- What is the refund policy?
If a CertRidge practice exam is not what you expected, contact support within 14 days of purchase and we will refund a single-certification purchase in full. We would rather give your money back than have you feel misled about what this is.
- Will CertRidge guarantee I pass?
No, and be wary of any practice-exam site that does. What we can say is that our questions are built to the same exam guide the real test is built from, every answer is fully explained so you learn the underlying concept rather than memorising an answer key, and the readiness score is designed to tell you honestly when you are not ready yet.
